Today we got the keys for our new hair salon at 109 Chapel St, Windsor. We have a new partner in this store Marcus Alvarado, formerly of Hawthorn.
Carl & Belinda worked with Marcos for many years at one of Melbourne's best known hairdressing salons. So it's with real delight that we welcome Marcus into the Chumba family with this landmark salon.
Many won't know, but it is exactly this Melbourne block that was home to Carl & Belinda before they moved to Warragul. In fact it was Carl's first Australian neighborhood and remained so for many years until the 'tree-change'. So I guess this exciting new Chumba chapter is somewhat warm & fuzzy. After-all - who doesn't love going home once in awhile!

Chumba heads up IHS Show

Team Chumba will be taking the stage for the upcoming IHS Hairdressing industry night in Melbourne this month. As ambassadors for Excellent Edges Scissorsmiths Carl & Belinda will demonstrate their cutting prowess to their hairdressing peers. This show is a prelude to the big Hair Expo show in Sydney next month. So it's the last chance to get the butterflies out before we hit the big stage!
