It's with a heavy heart that we must inform you that 'Prince of Cool' Pete Koziell will not longer call Chumba Windsor home. As some may know Pete has been off on leave since Christmas and we caught up for a chat last week. Although undecided about what his new step in life will be he knows it will be a different path to the Chumba one. We respect his decision and fully support him in his future endeavours. But enough with that sad formal stuff what about the good stuff...
It was almost tens years ago when a strange looking lad fronted up at Chumba Drouin to ask about an apprenticeship. They called me and said he was very nice, well spoken, gentle and genuine... but with really big ears. I think they meant impressive lobe stretches!
Well we interviewed this kid and we thought why not give him a go. A few moths later I took this country kid for a day in our Windsor Salon just so he could see what we did there. On the way home I was treated to a very intelligent and persuasive narrative as to why he would benefit the company the most by being in that Windsor Salon. He convinced me easily. Quickly moved to Windsor and Pete K Hair was born. The rest as they say is history.
I can sum up the last decade really easily... Pete you've made me so proud of what you've achieved. We've built a company and a presence together that will go on now without you but you will go down as a legend at Chumba. We've shared crazy times, successful times and hard times. I've loved it all.
Thank you Pete from us all at Chumba. Thanks for the fun times and the laughs. And thanks for all of the Balut we've shared (even though that is gross by the way) over so many years.
You are Chumba for Life... our door is always open to you.
Pete's clients are of course welcome to continue to enjoy Chumba Windsor. All of the Big Guns... Carl, Alex, Colleen, Belinda and Chris will warmly welcome you all to their chairs.
